The Savannah Scottish Games will hold an EUSPBA sanctioned pipe and drum competition for the following fields:

  • Solo competitions: 
    1. Grades 1-5 Piping,  Snare, Tenor, and Bass Drumming
  • Band competitions:
    1. Grade 4 MSR
    2. Grade 5 QMM

 

Registration: will close at 00:01 on Monday April 21st 2025.  All registrations will be final after that deadline.  No field entries will be allowed.  If there is confusion in any part of the registration process please be sure to reach out to [email protected].

 

Tickets and parking passes: Solo competitors will obtain a ticket after registration which is to be used as your ticket and parking pass.  Bands will be sent a parking pass for use of band competitors for entry.  

 

Schedule:  Solo schedules and band draw will be completed the week after registration deadline and sent out in accordance with EUSPBA rules.  

  • Solo competitions are expected to start about 8:30-9:00am and run through 1pm.  
  • Opening ceremonies will start at 12pm.  All bands are required to participate.  Soloists are excused if still competing.  There will be a bands meeting at 10AM for coordination of opening ceremonies and band competitions.  Bands will be expected to begin mustering at approximately 11:30am for line up.
  • Band competitions will start at approximately 2pm.  
  • Awards Ceremony will be held at approximately 4:30pm. Beer tent congregation to follow there after.
  • These schedule estimates are subject to change.
  • The below form for solo registrations will allow multiple category registrations if competing in piping and drumming.


Registration Fees:

  • Pipeband: $135/grade entry
  • Soloist: $45/person

 

Pipeband Travel Money: The first six entries will receive travel money per the below limits:

Competition Rules:

  • All events will be governed by the EUSPBA guidelines, rules and regulations.  
  • All competitors and bands must be registered with the EUSPBA another recognized piping and drumming association. 
  • There will be no field entries allowed on the day of the games. 
  • All soloists and bands must be ready to play when called by the Steward or risk disqualification. 
  • All competitions will be held rain or shine
  • All decisions made by the Judges will be final.
